Hello- One of the activities I have set up for our middle school for next week's Read Across America celelbration is for the homerooom groups to write a story with a limited number of words, as Dr. Seuss did with Cat in the Hat and Green Eggs and Ham. The teachers are saying they would like the students to have a word bank to work from. Has anyone done this? I'm not sure how to draw up the list, what words to include, what "rules" to set. I would sure appreciate any help, especiallly any lists of words to use!
