We back up the files at the end of each school year and reinstall them on the
next year's class computers.  If the computers are in the classrooms this
works great.  we keep all tests from fourth grade thru eighth and have very
little problem.  If you dcide to eliminate certain tests taken this can be
done for individual students as needed.

If you are NOT networked and AR is on stand alones:
The computer keeps up with what the kids have read, so it should be easy.
Just put the fifth graders in and when they go to sixth grade, export their
records and import them into the 6th grade teacher's computer.  You can have
a list of the new sixth grade classes and then go in and choose those kids
from the fifth grade computers and create export files for each new teacher.

IF you ARE networked, then you just change the teacher's name on the child's
record.  AR does the rest.....

Out of curiosity....is this brand new for you?  I have Kindergartners doing
AR.......
