I am in the process of making decisions about a new library. My school is adding a secondary library and renovating our K-12 space to be a K-5 library. Does anyone out there have positive or negative experience with pin-in-hole shelf supports? I'm trying to decide between basic steel shelving that has "tabs" for shelf adjustment versus something like Iron Wood shelving that may look more finished and has the pin-in-hole adjustments. Also, what about backstops? Are they a good idea for open-back double-faced shelves. Thanks!
