GEN: Script/Play Identification

Our drama coach read a script in the past--in an anthology of one-act plays
from our library, he thinks--about a girl with six fingers who dies when her
parents remove the "imperfection".  He cannot recollect the name of this
play.  Does anyone recognize the plot? TIA
