Hi LM_NET Members!! Our superintendent is asking for suggestions regarding the library budget in our district. As it stands, we have separate budget lines for books, periodicals, and library supplies. Software comes from either district software funds or building software funds. Would you recommend a software budget specific for each library instead? If yes, why? Also, we do not have a separate budget line for any A/V materials (videos, books on tape). Would you recommend this as a separate budget line? If yes, why? How much should we budget for these items? Thanks for your input.
