Dear ISLMANET & LM_NET Members,
Hello.  Please excuse the cross postings.  I am posting these for several
of my school librarians.  Please respond to me and if there's interest I'll
post a hit on each question.

Question #1: Does anyone have a mission statement for their library that
they would be willing to share?  If so, you can fax it to 815-725-0930 or
snail mail it to Attn.: Mary, 405 Earl Road, Shorewood IL 60431.

Questions #2:  Does anyone use software to monitor students computers,
either in a lab or in the library?  If so, what do you use and would you
recommend it?

Question #3:  I have a librarian that is a single librarian in a district
with 5 schools.  She spends one day at each school.  There is an aid in the
junior high and another that is responsible for the cataloging, processing,
etc.  Currently, the libraries do remain open and teachers check out for
their classes without the librarian. One of the administrators would like
to automate in the near future.
Her question is this:  Does anyone let teachers use your automation system
independently?
