It is my privilege to serve in an older, very small, few print resources
library with quite a few (12) on-line connections. My patrons are very
diverse...I am attempting to double the books written in Spanish, add
books written in other languages, I have ordered as many books on tape
as I can, and I am now venturing into finding out about all the
resources that are available for the visually impaired. I have a VERY
supportive administration and teaching staff. We are also "remodeling"
the school but we will not be adding any floor space to our facility.

I would like to make this library "state of the art" but I'm not sure
what that means! What does "state of the art" mean to you? Would you
respond to me personally please? I would like to move as much as I can
into a "cybrary" but what does your experience and expertise tell you is
a "must have"?.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions you can send my way,

Marilyn Beaird
