Scheduling question

My school  is looking for ideas to create common grade level plan time
for our teachers.  We have at least 4 sections of each grade level and
right now  our specials are scheduled all over the place.  The teachers
would like to have a set time each day for specials (9 Monday is Art, 9
Tuesday is Music, etc.)  Right now we have just art, music and p.e. as
specials.  How do you work this out at your school, or do you have grade

level plan time during the school day?  It has been suggested that the
media center be used as a special but since we have flexible scheduling
I am presenting a case against this.  I await your helpful suggestions!
