Elem: Graphic organizers for primary?

Dear friends,
I am going to begin a research intro with our second grade students
soon.  The plan is to begin with Little 3 version of Big6.  My problem
is:  what sort of graphic organizer should I use with these students?
With 3rd grade and up we use the 12x18 manila paper folded to make 4
columns across and down.  These squares are too small for my second
grade students to use to record their notes--squares are too small for
their rather large printing.  What do you use with younger students?
