GEN: need info on this group

my principal was faxed information from this non-profit organization
that offers free books to schools in certain states
(http://www.literacyempowerment.org/lef/mainframe.html).
i'm wondering if anyone has had any dealings with them.  they do charge
.55 p book for S/H and administration.
