TECH: iMacs freezing in Excel

Hello all,

My school has a Mac lab that operates on a Windows NT network.  We run some
iMacs as well as some G3's and some older machines.  The iMacs have a
tendency to freeze whenever we open Excel.  This problem doesn't occur with
other applications, and we have no problem running Excel on the other
computers.  I'd love to hear from anyone who's had and solved this problem
or who has ideas for how to solve it.
