Thanks for the replies I have received so far, I will post a HIT Some have asked for explanation of Year 7 Australia follows the same grades as the US only we start our year in February and finish December. Year 7s are usually aged 12 to 13. Our schools are different in composition Primary (Elementary) are K - 6 usually with an Infants Department for the K - 2 High Schools are 7 - 12 but there are a few like St Agnes known as Junior High Schools with grades 7 -10. So my year 7s are new to the school (Freshmen?) St Agnes has now become one Campus of Christ Catholic College with another 7 -10 campus plus an 11-12 campus. Note College does not mean older students - it usually denotes a private school here in NSW but in other states some state schools are also called colleges. At the end of Year 12 students go straight to University Hope this helps Brian Ralph Teacher-Librarian mailto:bralph@zeta.org.au Christ Catholic College - St Agnes Campus http://www.zeta.org.au/~stagstaf Rooty Hill, NSW, Australia phone: 61-2-9675 2422 (in the Western Suburbs of Sydney) fax: 61-2-9832 1927 "Data isn't information, information isn't knowledge, knowledge isn't wisdom" =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-==-= All postings to LM_NET are protected under copyright law.
