I am not looking for what is the regular "science Fiction" and I'm not necessarily looking for books that are about science fair projects, thought I am going to look over Tina's hit about those books very carefully. I have a 9th grade science teacher that would like a fiction book to use in her classroom. We have looked at The Maze, the Beasties, Body Bags, and Earthshine. She is reading "The Poison Place" right now. She is looking for a book that uses good science in the plot. It doesn't need to be a mystery and we don't want any supernatural elements or magic. I didn't even suggest "A chemy called Al" because of that. I have scoured my collection and picked the brains of my city librarians, but there doesn't seem to be anything that comes to mind. I bet you can guess what comses up when I do a search for "Science -- Fiction" and trying chemistry, biology, or other key words like that gave me no success either. Please HELP!
