Hi again. And I do mean AGAIN. It really seems like I have been relying on all of you (more than usual!) since I have returned from my educational leave! We have a selection of novels for grade seven students to choose from for their novel study, but we feel the fantasy readers have been excluded. Any suggestions would be greaty welcomed. I would like to add the tripod book Grey Mountain (John Christopher) and this would cover sci-fi but not really fantasy. We think The Dark is Rising (Susan Cooper) and The Golden Compass are too difficult for a novel study at this level??? Here's what we currently offer. Any great fantasy suggestions? Any suggestions period? The Great Gilly Hopkins Micke Harte Was Here The Cay The Walsinghams go to Birmingham (sp?)
