One of our phys. ed. teachers brought down a bunch of old (copyright 1979) booklets on techniques for different sports (from basketball to high beam). The booklets are 64 pages long and originally cost $1.50 each. They are published by an organization called "The Athletic Institute" , the series seems to be called "Sports Techniques" (yes, in quotes). T.p. verso says The Athletic Institute Merchandise Mart, Chicago A not-for-profit organization devoted to the advancement of athletics, physical education and recreation. He wants to know if there are any updated versions of this. I am not sure how to find out if this organization still exists! Does anyone know: 1. If this organization exists, and if yes, how to contact them. 2. Of any similar booklets on sports techniques? We would like to have more "how to" sports material, but are not willing to spend $20+ on books which disappear sometimes even before they reach the shelf, or which are "borrowed" forever.
