Damaged Books Poster

When I worked at the Elem. school, I did a poster contest on care of books.
I stressed it must be done by the students! If it looked like parent work it
would not win! I had 6 winners, K,1, 2, etc. - 5th grade each had one
winner! This were displayed in the LMC and I took the winners for lunch at
McDonald's. All of the entrants were displayed at the local public
libraries, with lists going home in the newsletter to let parents know where
there child's poster was displayed. They were wonderful! One winner could
have been turned into a poster and people would have bought it.

MORAL: That year, I had 40% (or so) fewer damaged books!
