Thanks for the prompt response to my query about women authors who use men's names. Some of the suggestions are listed below along with some websites and a reference book title. "Literature cannot be the business of a women's life, and it ought not to be." -- Robert Southley, Poet Laureate of England to the Bronte sisters.
