Reference question answered

Thanks to everyone who answered my reference question
about the 12-year old girl who met with Russian
leaders and was later killed - Samantha Smith.  I have
a confession, though.  I had the answer minutes after
I posted!  I was talking about the question with the
teacher who had asked, and another teacher, a history
buff, came into my office.  He not only knew the name
of Samantha, but knew the name of the Russian leader
she met with! Once I had her name, I went back to Ask
Jeeves, re-worded the question, and came up with a
couple of really nice web sites.  The teacher asking
the question was happy, and the teacher answering the
question was happier!  Let's hear it for history
buffs!
