Dear Colleagues, I have been asked to pull together a survey that faculty members will fill out to determine the direction/future of the Media Center in the high school where I am a first year employee. I want to elicit responses that are more than one word; therefore, I wish to avoid questions such as...should the media center have more books than computers (or vice versa). Questions worded, "how do you use the media center in teaching your courses/the curriculum," might work better than "do you use the media center in teaching your course." I could use some expert assistance. I must prepare, disseminate, evaluate, and recommend before April. While this seems like plenty of time, I have other responsibilities as well, like budget preparation, etc. Perhaps some of you have waded through this process...if so, could you lend some insight...sample questions? Any help would be appreciated. Sincerely, Cheri Anderson, Media Specialist Roncalli High School 3300 Prague Rd.
