Thank you to everyone who helped my son solve his challenge concerning the painting, "Washington Crossing the Delaware". He was totally impressed with the knowledge on this group---high praise from a 17 year old boy! Thanks again. For anyone interested in adding this information to their store of knowledge, the following web sites were suggested and proved especially helpful. http://www.ushistory.org/valleyforge/youasked/012.htm http://earlyamerica.com/review/fall96/delaware.html http://www.darlington.rome.ga.us/academics/history/LeutzePainting.html http://americanrevolution.org/delxone.html Thanks again to everyone who took the time to help us with this project---especially to the the librarian who actually phoned the state park visitor's center with my questions. This group it awesome in its desire to help!
