GEN: Tear jerker OR sad story OR ...

Hi Netters

I know this started out as a request for another subject matter for sad
books. I informally call them "Good Crys" or "Cry Books" and have a
loyal following of students who love many of the ones mentioned to date.

I, too, cry at insurance ads on the television - so I'm not really
reliable in this category....but I just finished Curtis' Newbery winner,

_Bud, not Buddy_ and I was glad to have the tissues nearby....I needed
two!
