Re: HIT: Tearjerkers

I know this is late but I am new to this. I have been lurking for a while
and just have to add my two cents. My daughter(14 and watching over my
shoulder) and I both think Sounder needs to be added to the list of
tearjerkers. We think it is one of the saddest stories we've ever read and
yes, we read it together years ago. I can't even tell a student about the
book without choking up.
