I am going to begin a new fifth and sixth library next year. I will be
taking some of the titles with me from the k-6 current library media
center. Do any of you have some "must have titles" for our reference
collection that I need to include in the budget.
I have a print encyclopedia, unabidged dictionary and two or three good
atlases on my list. I'll be taking the print Something About the
Author,Bartletts,etc.
I have very little knowledge about online references. If any of you have
some you think are wonderful, please let me know. I thought I had more time
for this as we got a late start breaking ground. Today I find out that the
administration needs details from me very soon. I have covered the cost of
automation for the media center. Now I need to know what to request in the
online and reference ideas. I know that this is very broad for a request
but I would really appreciate any ideas. I looked in the archives under New
Library collection, library collections and didn't find much. Maybe I'm
using the wrong search strategy for it. Please send any ideas to me at
           eubanksj@harrisontwp.k12.nj.us
