TECH: Screen Capture on MAC

I am using a MAC Performa 6360 system 7 and I want to be able to capture
the screens from a URL.  I have tried pressing print screen F13 key and
trying to paste, and I have tried Open Apple-shift-3 and it wont' copy
into a Microsoft Word document.  Does anyone have an idea on how I can
make this work?  TIA
