A teacher asked if there was a source that listed businesses and their parent companies. She teaches an economics class and would like to show students how many smaller companies are bought by larger ones and how many companies merge. I did a search on AltaVista and did find the Dunn and Bradstreet(sp?) site, but it goes by subscription. Other listings of business directories were advertisements from communities or parent companies. Any ideas?
