I have several questions on the national teaching standards/certification and the Library Media standards/certification: . Will anyone who passes be able to go from state to state without being required to get a teaching license in that state/and/or more courses to qualify to teach in that state? If the answer is no to the above, why should I go to all the time and expense to try and achieve this certification? As for money? I thought it costs the teachers $3,000 to 4,000 to do everything and apply? I have no idea what Wisconsin is offering for anyone to take it. Know most districts the person who does make it would get a slight increase in salary. But is it worth all the time, effort, heartache, stress, and yes the cost? Thank you for any answers.
