Possible new group for inner city school librarians?

I noticed at the AASL meeting that new interest groups can be set up.  I
wondered if anyone would be interested in meeting and talking at the ALA
mtg about a sort of survival librarian group.  Grants, books and videos of
special interest to our students and teachers, tips on discipline and
general library managements, how to get parents to get involved, there are
a host of issues.

.I realize how last minute this is;  but then when we had an asbestos
problem last year at our school, all arrangements were very last minute.
So people who respond to this would probably be just the kind it would be
most useful for.

I misplaced my schedule and my web access here is very slow --what about
meeting for breakfast one of those days?  Maybe Sunday?

I'm happy to get suggestions.  But I'm off the regular list at LM_net right
now, just going into the archives when I have time.
