GEN: One-Person School Librarian Tips

I am taking a management class in library school and have chosen as my
issues paper one-person school librarian management. I have a few questions
for those of you LM_NET people to whom this applies. Respond to my email
directly and I can assure you no names will be used in the paper:
1. What do you find most satisfying about your experience?
2. What do you find least satisfying about your experience?
3. What traits or skills do you feel are significant to one-person school
librarians?
4. Rank the following issues in the order of importance (1 = most
concerning)
a. automation
b. time management
c. budget issues
d. user service
5. Do you have any creative ways to solve the above issues?
6. Do you have volunteers assisting you in the library? If so, how do you
recruit and train them?
