!! Introduction

Hello everyone -

This note comes to you from Rochester Hills, MI, about 30 miles north of =
Detroit.  I am a library media specialist for a K-5 school and have been =
with the district for 11 years.  Amazing how my job has changed over the =
years!  Now, I have been given the responsibility of creating the school's =
web page and am eagerly awaiting the skills I will derive from this class. =
 I have access to Front Page but have never used it or HTML. =20

I also chair an organization called Authors in April, Inc. that brings 4 =
children's authors to our community each year.  This organization has been =
around for about 16 years and has brought authors such as Tomie DePaola, =
Jim Aylesworth, Rafe Martin, Phyllis Reynolds Naylor, virtually a who's =
who of children's literature.  I am also taking on the responsibility of =
their web page.

On a personal note I would like to share some of my interests with all of =
you.  My #1 hobby is racquetball.  I compete all over the US and have =
competed in some tournaments in Canada.  I play 2-3 times a week and spend =
the summer playing outdoors on a 3 wall court.  I also like to golf, =
kayak, travel, camp, ski, read, do needlework, cook, rollarblade, you name =
I'll try it!  My husband is also a teacher, so we do get a lot of things =
together in the summer. =20
