Olympics and library skills

I would like to use the olympics as the theme for this summer library
curriculum.  I have searched the web, but I can't figure out how to tie
lessons together regarding the summer olympics.  My school is grades 1
-5, but the low readers who need extra help are in attendance. If you
have any ideas, please share.
