Dear Gail,
If you go to our school website at http://www.palmdps.act.edu.au , scroll across to
the links on the
right and then click on the bottom one, it will take you to a page of Olympic links
that I have
prepared. Scroll down that for Activities Online and you will find a selection of
things that are
already on the web that might kickstart your thinking.

Having the kids research a sport, a country, a competitor, a tradition will bring
in all the
information literacy skills. I 'm going to get my Yr 5/6 to create a ready
reference webpage about
the traditions for the rest of the school.

Cheers
Barbara
