TARGET: Novels with a Brazilian theme

Greetings!  Each year, our global education committee selects a "country
of study" for the entire district to focus on.  This year, we will be
studying Brazil.  I am hoping to purchase not only "country" books, but
some novels as well that deal with Brazil and its people/culture.  If
there is anyone out there who has any knowledge of such books, would you
please send me those titles and authors.  It would be helpful if you
could indicate whether the books are elementary, middle, or secondary.
