Re: Times Bestseller list & Harry Potter

This reminds me of when the NYT refused to list "The Seven Story Mountain"
(Thomas Merton's autobiography) as the #1 book because they classified it as
religious.  This highlights ways in which our perceptions of a book's
"success or failure" can be manipulated.
