Dear LM Netters: I have a question possibly some of you could help me with. I have 25 iMacs (a year old with System 8 something) that are on a G3 network running with AtEase on them. I can insert a CD (this model has the button that opens the CD holder, not one of the new ones where it just slips in) and it shows up fine on the AtEase student menu, and it plays fine. However, how do I eject it? I don't have a Trash icon, and nothing under any of the menus to eject the CD. I tried a restart with the mouse button depressed, nothing happened. The only way I could eject it was to press the button on the CD drive while restarting. Not real convenient. I'm not real well versed on AtEase, so is there something in the preferences or setup to have under a menu to eject the CD? And, when I inserted the CD, the iMac became real loud - if it had wings, I think it would have flown! Not noisy during the use of the CD, but I'm wondering if it will be noisy all day when not in use; and how to prevent this.
