To all you knowledgable people...I'm stumped on this one. A friend wants to find a book that she read 10 to 15 years ago...it's written by a veterinarian in Wisconsin who has rescued lots of different animals and doctored them up, given them homes, etc...one story in particular is about a hawk he found. I think there are several stories collected in the book and that there may be more than one book in a series of sorts. I know this isn't much to go on (and it sounds rather like an American James Herriott), but I said I'd throw it out to this group, 'cause if anyone can come up with it, you can!!! Thanks in advance.
