much belated thanks

Earlier this spring I asked for suggestions for a 4th grader with a high
reading level. Many, many recommended Brian Jacques REDWALL series. I did
purchase a set, but unfortunately he couldn't 'get into them'. HOWEVER,
another 4th grade boy suddenly saw them and said, oh, mom just bought me the
first one!  We have AR and he scored well on the first one and he is now
plowing his way though the second one! YEAH, it was a winner after all.

Many thanks to all of you who sent me lots of suggestions. I have them in my
future purchases file.
