GEN: Battle of the Books

Hi,
        I am nearly finished with my MLS and signed up for lm_net as part of an
assignment.  I am really enjoying the discussions.  I would like to find
out about Battle of the Books.  I have not heard about it before.  Is it
a game that you purchase, if so where?  This is my first year as a
library media specialist, but I love it.  Thanks!
