There is an opening for an elementary librarian with the Lubbock, Texas,
schools.  A person is eligible for this position who has 1 year of teaching
experience, a teachers' certification, and either a MLS or library
certification.
Our library program in Lubbock is very involved with technology and has a
major emphasis on curriculum integregation.  We are stressing Big6 research
strategies within the library program.

Lubbock is located in the western part of Texas.  It has a population of
approximately 225,000 and is the home of Texas Tech University.  Our
district has approximately 30,000 students.
