ELEM: Shelf markers?

Do you use shelf markers for the students to put in the place of the book
they are looking at?  If you do, where do you order them from?  I currently
order them from "Upstart," but they easily snap in pieces.  I have also had
students make them out of tagboard and then laminate them, but they peel
back the laminating.  I would love to hear what others are doing and how to
solve my frustration.

Thank you for your suggestions in advance.  I will post a hit if I get
