LM_NET: Library Media Networking
Dear Colleagues,
I wish to thank all of you for your help and support whether direct or
indirect over the past couple of years. I'm not shy, but I'm retiring at
the end of this school year (June 15 is last day, June 30 is official
retirement day.)I loved the interesting discussions and ideas bantered back
and forth, and I hope some of my input was helpful as well.
I plan to travel, write, perform (storytelling/folk singing), make my
kid's album at last, and present concerts, residencies, workshops and
classes to colleagues around the country.I'm only retiring from ths
Philadelphia School District, not from life! Maybe I'll be coming to your
town at some point. I'll keep my hand in on this listserve ocasionally to
let you know when and where.
I'm just 55, so I have some good years left, God willing, to do some of
this other stuff. Hang in there y'all and continue to do the good work we
all try to do for the children and ultimately for the future.
