target: need help ordering a series of state books

hello everyone!

I hope you can help me with my problem.  I am currently ordering new books
for my library.  This is my first time doing this.  My library is very
outdated.  I need to order a new set of state books.  I am looking at Our
Nation series.  My problem is that my school is k-6, and the reading level
is pretty low for the upper grades.  I don't want to order something too
difficult.  Maybe I am stressing too much over this.  I don't know.  As I
said this is my first time.  If anyone can give me the name of a good set or
if they have Our Nation, let me know how it is.  I am also looking to order
a series of books on countries.  I'd like any info on that too.  One last
thing.  I want to order new World Book encyclopedias.  I tried calling an
800 number and got an answering machine.  No one has called me back!  Help!
How can I order World Book.  Thank You so much for all your help.  I will
appreciate it.
