ELEM: Internet Intro. Lessons

Hi LM-Netters :-)

  I am a K-5 librarian in need of some activity or lesson plan ideas.
A computer lab is being added to our building where I can now take an
entire class for instruction instead of small-group computer-based
instruction in the library.

I am looking for any ideas for introducing the Internet to grade 4
and 5 students .  I'm looking for lessons or tutorials that include
elementary level information on what the Net is and how to use it.

  I'm also in need of lessons, activities or tutorials on search
engines -- what and how to use them.  Activity or lesson plan ideas
can be for the library and/or the lab setting.

*Any* ideas or Web links to possible sources would be greatly appreciated :-)
