I understand your situation.  I would get some bins and place the books
in them.  Then create a MARC record, noting all the books in the
basket.  Have the teachers check out the books by the basket, then when
they come back all you have to do is check to make sure all the titles
are there.  Place the baskets in a teacher only area.  I hope this
