LM_NET: Library Media Networking
I am responding to the message about read-alound in the library for 4th and
5th grade. I had a 15 minute library time which was used mostly for book
check-out. To get the students away from Goosebumps, I would read a paragraph
from different books each time a class came in to spark their interest. You
could also do book talks. I found reading from the book worked best for the
4th graders and book talking for 5th graders. Hope this helps.
