Sorry to post to the entire net. Rosanne, an unable to reply directly
to you.

I assume you're looking for surviving against nature, not just
circumstances. So, not sure these quite fit -- but, certainly nature
plays an important part:

John Marsden's trilogy about a group of teens surviving a military
take over of Australia (in present times). The first is "Tomorrow, When
the War Begins." The third is "A Killing Frost". Can't remember the
middle one.

Also, what about Anne McCaffrey's "freedom" series (survival in space,
among the aliens, female protagonist): "Freedom's Landing," "Freedom's
Challenge," and ??? (the mind goes fast in the summer!!) Probably at
least the first of her "dragon" series: "Dragonsdawn."

Anything by Will Hobbs? Others by Gary Paulsen ("The River"...)

"Deathwatch" by Robb White.

"Alive" by Paul Piers Read.

I definitely think you should post a hit. Once we see other titles in
print, more will come. Love the idea.

Good luck,
