HIT hotmail

It appears that hotmail is the worst service as far as spam is concerned.  I
have had about 25 responses to my query.  Yahoo is given high markers by
those that use it.  I also heard from people happy with:
http://www.edmail.com
       http://www.mailexcite.com
       http://www.netscape.net
and one person wrote:
I found out about a free email that filters out spam.
http://www.msgto.com.

I am going to sign off the list on hotmail and sign on again from another
account - One person wrote and told me you can not sign off hotmail - you
just ignore the mailbox and it fills up and then everything after that
bounces back to the sender.
