We had a fabulous day here for RAA! It was Crazy Hat Day and students went all out with wild, wacky, homemade, outrageous hats. Everyone in the library wore Cat-in-the-Hat hats. For lunch we had Dr. Seuss's Amazing Barbecued Chicken (ABC) with Truffula Trees (broccoli). Today we're having Crazy Colors Day and One fish two fish red fish fish sticks and Oobleck for lunch. The HUMOR part: Yesterday I read Horton Hatches the Egg to 1st graders and when the story was over I asked what the kids thought Dr. Seuss was trying to tell us. A little boy raised his hand and said that the lesson of that story was "Never sit on a stranger's thing." (Good advice)! Have a great weekend everyone!
