great lakes, lesson plans

Hi Everyone,
I do a research unit on the Great Lakes with 4th graders.  I am looking  for
new ideas for my lesson plans.  In previous years we have done posters,
travel brochures, and a Great Lakes trivia game.  I have searched for new
lesson plans and haven't found anything.  I would appreciate some fresh
ideas.
