Once again, thanks to those who answered my request for the location of the story The Treat Shop by Eleanor Johnson. It is a story about Marco coming late to school and his excuse was that he had to intervene in an argument that two worms were having. Unfortunately, it appears the book appears to be out of print and not available at our local libraries. Does anyone know where we might be able to access the story or the book? The Treat Shop is a story in the book: LC Control Number:54001183 Jacobs, Leland B. (Leland Blair), 1907- ed. Main Title: Treasury of literature: readtext series, selected and edited by Leland B. Jacobs and Jo Jasper Turner. Published/Created: Columbus, Ohio, C. E. Merrill Books [1954-60, v. 1, 1960] LC Classification: PE1117 .J28 Dewey Class No.: 372.412 Other System No.: (OCoLC)6494965 CALL NUMBER: PE1117 .J28 Thanks so much for your help! The teacher remembers much of the text from her childhood and would like the entire story. Thanks - you guys are great!
