Judith, can you post this on the web site where I could get responses
from elementary librarians?  I need help with ideas for our reading
celebration day.

On Friday, May 5 Edgewood Elementary Library in Pine Bluff, Arkansas
with a kindergarten/first grade student population of almost 500 is
having a reading celebrtion day to honor the readers who
participated in a reading contest.  The event will be outside on the
playground with games, speakers, refreshments, and anything else that
we can think to use.  Any suggestions to help make this an exciting,
fun day will really be appreciated by us: Voletta Chavis and Sherry
Beckwith.  Thanks.
